Condolence: It is with sincere regret that I have learned of the death of David. To me he exemplified the attributes of sportsmanship and citizen ship. Lunenburg has lost a truly great all-round citizen.

Condolence: Deanna & family;
We wish to express our sincere condolences on Dave's passing. I 1st met Dave through hockey and ball when we were young boys in Lunenburg, in the 1950s. He was a great supporter to our 2 NS High School Championship Teams in 1959 & 1961. I have always felt that he was one of the best hockey players to ever come out of Lunenburg! We were honoured to have him as a guest at the 2008 Academy Sports Reunion and the 2011 50th Championship Reunion, when he was our guest speaker. We had a great time that evening reminiscing about all our good experiences in hockey. Dave was a great friend to all the members of those teams and we will remember him fondly. Lunenburg has lost a great citizen who devoted a lot of time to his community. He was a great Lunenburger! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time!

Condolence From: Judi Croft
Condolence: Dear Tracey:

Our sincere condolences to you and your family, your Mom and sisters on the death of your Dad. Please know you have been with us in thought throughout this past week as we received updates from Julianne in Barrie. You all have so many wonderful memories of this very special Dad, husband, grandfather, father-in-law and they will sustain you as days pass. Know that he is at peace and will not suffer any more. The write-up in the local paper with the great picture of David spoke volumes as did Mayor Mawhinney's statement on the news. He will be missed by so many and leaves a huge void. God bless you all as you continue in your bereavement.

Sincerely,
Judi & Robert Croft
