Dear Mrs Kinley, Ed, Shona, Peter and Paula: I am saddened by the loss of your father, Jim. He was a true gentleman. Despite the pressures of his business, politics and charities, he would take the time to ask how my life was going. We shared the interests of the military and sailing. I was enlightened when he came home one night that I was visiting, changed from his suit into work clothes and proceeded to take Eddie and I out to the farm to feed and clean up after the cows. Businessman and pillar of the community on one hand, gentleman farmer on the other. He will be missed. My thoughts are with you. Jeff Steeves
