Condolence: I know it's very late, but i only knew of this now. I was a student in Interior Design from 92-96 and Dave was always a spectacular Teacher and good friend. We the students (amongst many other things) always enjoyed the Friday afternoons in the shop listening to Leonard Cohen and having a drink. Dave was someone that was liked and loved. Cheers to him, even after these years.

Condolence: I would like to express my deepest sympathy to David's family upon hearing of his recent passing. I am a former student of David's, having graduated from Ryerson's Interior Design program in 1981. I fondly recall David's kind, caring, gentle manner and great sense of humour. My most memorable time spent in his company was during a school trip to England where he toured the students around his old stomping grounds and former art school. I feel very privileged to have had David as a teacher. His passion for art and design was an inspiration to me that I will cherish always.

Condolence: David was the very best colleague one could have. He gave his heart and soul to the School of Interior Design and his passion as an educator never abated. He was always ready to talk shop and cared for his students in a way that was an example for all of us. He and I" grew up together" at the school: he was the one who turned it from just a place to work to a second home for all of us. Somehow one thought he would always be there... but my memories are plentiful. " No you can't take that away from me..." as the song goes. Jake, Ben and I want to extend our deepest condolences to his whole family but especially to Kerry and Morgan. Annick Mitchell
