Condolences

Condolence From: Charlie Dort
Condolence: Charlie was a true friend. I will miss him greatly. I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to be his friend and hear his life's story on the Grand Banks and sailing aboard some of the finest schooners ever built in the maritimes. Charlie comes from an era WHEN MEN WERE MEN, one of the last true dory fishermen of his time.

Condolence: I was so privileged to have met your father Charles. I miss him so as he was my last stop before going home at night to get my kiss,& the day of his passing my first stop. We had a special bond. He will hold a special place forever in my heart. My deepest sympathy to you all. He was one of a kind.

Condolence From: genevieve bond
Condolence: I really miss Charles. As i was reading the obit, I remember some of the same stories that he told me, as i watched him work at his boats and helped him several times to "thread the needle". We talked about Nelson, as we used to camp with he and his wife a lot. I am so sorry that i didn't go around the curtain and give him his final forehead kiss, the last night he was in the Pines, when i stopped to chat with his daughter. He always called me the "the one from the other side" meaning apt side. Much sympathy to the family.
