She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 23, Lunenburg, and the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Blanche was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and cared deeply for her family and will be missed by so many.

She is survived by her husband, Boyd, daughter, Jane (Joseph) Wentworth, Wolfville; and a grandson, Paul, Halifax.

She was predeceased by a brother, Warren.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #. 3, Lunenburg.
