The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Parks can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Gail and Dean Westbrook
Condolence: Dear Frances and families,
Please accept our deepest condolences. I hope you find great comfort in knowing that Robert is now safe and free from all tears, trials and troubles. I had a wonderful afternoon last September visiting with you both, Robert could always carry a conversation to any level and I have always known that he was a fighter, accepting of change and rolling with what may be. Robert was my first Fire Chief and helped me adjust to my new position. I have tender memories of this gentle giant who was a true believer in "Deeds not Words". I felt blessed having him as a friend and know that he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
When a rose climbs over a garden wall, you cannot see it, but you know it is blooming on the other side.

Condolence From: Trevor & Dashia Hyson
Condolence: So sad to hear the lost of Robert, he was a good man and so dedicated to his town, he will be missed a lot by the citizens. My wife, Dashia liked your smile and chats at HVH when you came up. Our deepest condolences to the whole family. I enjoyed as a kid going to his camp a lot on Mason's Island and going to the IGA xmas party's. He was kind and treated you fair as he did in Feb. of 92 when he accepted and saved me a spot in the fire dept. until I finished high school and he was my 1st fire Chief then. I have enjoyed having that drink with him as his words" ya I think we'll have one".
Also I want to add that he was a big part of getting the new fire hall built at 25 Medway st. " DEEDS NOT WORDS " !
