The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lucille Ritcey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Richard & Janet Lohnes & Family

In memory of a loving and caring lady who was such an integral part of our family. Lucille and Eric (Richard’s cousin) were always there helping us celebrate the happy times as well as providing support in the sad times. They had made many road trips together throughout Canada and the States, and Lucille got great pleasure in reliving all their adventures remembering every one of the trips in exact detail. They made sure that they visited us in Sudbury, a place where they themselves lived in the 1950’s, in Terrace Bay and in Riverport. We so enjoyed our times spent with them and will now miss them both so very much. Lucille was very devoted to her church and one of Lunenburg’s greatest ambassadors. She was our “go to person” for questions we had on the early days in Riverport where she spent a lot of time in her youth and after marrying Eric. We take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with all her family who had travelled on before her. Rest in peace dear Lucille. Ever remembered and ever loved by Richard, Janet & Heather Lohnes; Jennifer, Peter, Sarah, Julie and Adam Heenan
