Obituary for Grace Margaret Young

Grace Margaret  Young
Grace Margaret Young (nee Mason), 1915-2009, of the Berkerley, Bedford and formerly of Lunenburg, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax.

Grace was born in Lunenburg, a daughter of the late Leaman and Jennie (Westhaver) Mason.

Grace spent her childhood in Sommerville, near Boston, Mass and the remainder of her life in Lunenburg. She has lived at the Berkerley in Bedford for the past ten years.

She is survived by her sons, Roy (Cindy), David (Judy), both of Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Jeff (Deanna), Terri (Trevor), Lynn (Caleb), Paul (Karen), great-grandchildren, Cali, Ryder, Eric, Adam and her long-time friend, Norine Beck, Lunenburg.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles and brother Curt.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg, and where a memorial service to celebrate Grace’s life will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
