It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Alice Horton, 97, of Lunenburg and formerly of Vienna, ON, announces her passing on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Harbour View Haven Home For Special Care, Lunenburg.

Born in La Riviere, Manitoba, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Hadlow) Lovell.

Ruth enjoyed a long and dedicated career as a Health Care Aide, employed in long term care nursing homes until her retirement.

Ruth is survived by daughter, Ruth Anne (John) Whicher, Lunenburg; sons, Don (Rose) Horton, Vienna, ON; Steven (Christy) Horton, Currieburg, NB; grandchildren, Alicia, Kimberley, Jeff, Donnalee and Heather; great-grandchildren, Sam and Hailee.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Arthur and a loving son, Larry.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. At Ruth’s request, there will be no service at this time. Interment will be held at a later date.
