Obituary for Charles Edward Buckmaster

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Edward Buckmaster, 73, of
Argyle and formerly of First Peninsula, on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Yarmouth Regional
Hospital, Yarmouth.

Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of the late Charles Sr. and Mina May (Weagle) Buckmaster.
Charles spent most of his working career as a marine engineer and later became a stationary
engineer but he always missed the ocean. He enjoyed hunting and could always be found in his
garden. After he retired he volunteered with the SPCA but his biggest joy would be his
Grandchildren Emily and Ethan.

Charles is survived by daughters; Danielle (Shain Veinotte), Pinehurst, Nadine, Lunenburg;
grandchildren, Emily, Ethan; sisters, Joyce, Lunenburg, Sylvia Wile, Bridgewater; brother,
Michael (Patricia), First Peninsula; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Charles was predeceased by his wife, Susan; nephew, Michael

Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L.
Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. #3, Lunenburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the S.P.C.A would be appreciated by the
family.
