Obituary for Evelyn Mae Grimm

Evelyn Mae Grimm
It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Mae Grimm, 89 of Grimm’s Settlement announces her passing on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Riverport, she was the daughter of the late Willet and Ellen (Conrad) Mossman.

In her earlier years Evelyn taught school in a one room school house in Rose Bay and Middle LaHave. Later she chose to stay at home to bring up her children and to work on the family farm in Grimm’s Settlement. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours in her vegetable garden, helping around the farm. Her greatest pleasure was spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed a good game of cards and puzzles. Over the years Evelyn was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in First South. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Evelyn is survived by her sons, Lonnie (Betty) Grimm; Robert (Linda) Grimm both of Grimm’s Settlement; daughter, Janet (Gerald) Tanner of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Ryan (Natasha) Grimm, Lisa Grimm, Crystal (Matthew) Smith; Holly (Farook) Lodi, Katie Grimm, Cynthia (Craig) Chapman, Dalton and April Grimm; and great-grandchildren, Brielle, Liam, Elliott, Kasia, Serenity and Riley.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace, sons, Daniel (Danny) and Ralph, step-father, Otto Zinck, brothers, Roseville, Arthur and Perry Mossman.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L.
