Marguerite Berringer , 99, passed away at Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg on November 28, 2018.

She was born in Windsor, N.S to the late Wade and Anna (Armstrong) Church, Windsor Rd.

For most of her adult life she lived in First Peninsula where she continued to raise her 5 children after the death of her husband , Ralph, in 1959. Her children and grandchildren were the centre of her life. Nothing was more important to her than the health, welfare and happiness of her family. With their continual support, especially that of her son David, she was able to remain in her home until April 2017, when she moved to Harbour View Haven.

Marguerite is survived by her sons, Basil (Evelyn) and Ralph (Janette) Church; David and Robert (Elenor) Berringer; daughter, Gladys Tanner; sister, Clara (Ivan) Corkum, Windsor Rd. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren .

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by six brothers ( Harold, Donald, Frank, Douglas, Murray and Harry) ; three sisters ( Alice, Ethel and Gladys) and her son-in-law , Brian Tanner.

As per Marguerite's request, there will be no visitation/service. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to charity of choice.
