Obituary for Pauline Adelia Tanner

It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline Adelia Tanner, 93, of Blue Rocks announces her passing on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.

Born in Blue Rocks, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Exina (Zinck) Knickle.

Pauline worked for many years at National Sea Products, Lunenburg and was an active member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church Blue Rocks and for many years Vice President of the Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by daughters, Marion Zinck, Blue Rocks, Noreen (Chris) Crouse, Bridgewater, sons, Randy (Lisa) Tanner, Centre, and Morton, Blue Rocks, grandchildren, Marc, Faye, Felicia, Scott, Cole, and Jodie, great-grandchildren, Keysha, Shawn, Matthew, great- great-grandchild, Alexa.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred “Andrew” Tanner, son-in-law, Ralph Zinck and grandson, Todd Zinck.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. #3, Lunenburg, where Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. The Very Rev. John Wright, officiating. Interment will be in the Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church or to the Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery.
