It is with great sadness that the family of Isabelle May Whynacht, 93, of Lunenburg announce her passing on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg.

Born in Front Centre, she was a daughter of the late Harris and May (Beck) Dares. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Isabelle worked for Powers Brothers for three years then later went to work at the Stedman store in Lunenburg for twenty-five years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lunenburg and sang in the church choir.

Isabelle is survived by Ann and Brian Hirtle of Lunenburg as well as many of her extended family.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Gordon.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg, where a memorial service to celebrate Isabelle’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Rick Pryce officiating. Interment to follow in Sunny Valley Cemetery, Centre.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to Zion Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.
