Obituary for Milford David Whynacht
It is with great sadness that the family of Milford David Whynacht,74, of Lunenburg, announces his passing on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Lunenburg, he was the son of the late Robert and Alementa (Eisnor) Whynacht.
Milford began his working career with the Department of Public Works for the Town of Lunenburg, then went on to work for Nova Wood Products until he retired.
Milford is survived by his loving wife, Lucinda; loving daughter, Jackie (Darren) Hancock, Lunenburg; brother, Gilbert (Betty), Bridgewater; grandchildren, Steven and Andrew whom he loved dearly as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Lawrence, Basil, Leo, Douglas, Frank and sister Paulette.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy #3, Lunenburg and from where a memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Marion Mawhinney officiating. Interment to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
