Obituary for Theresa Eletha Sabean (Mullins)
It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Eletha Sabean, 86, of Blue Rocks, announces her passing on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Born in Blue Rocks, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Beulah (Tanner) Mullins.
In her earlier years, Theresa worked at National Sea but her life was raising and looking after her family. She was known for having the best homemade cookies and she loved to cook meals for her large family. In her spare time she made many knitted articles, many of which her family treasure.
Theresa is survived by daughters, Susan (Rickey) Spidle, Feltzen South, Margaret (Rod) Wentzell, Conquerall Bank, Linda Tanner, Blue Rocks; sons, John (Susann) Blysteiner Lake, Edmund, Blue Rocks; sister, Marolyn Morash, Lunenburg; many grand and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund Sabean, son-in-law, Wayne Tanner; brothers, Andrew, Sterling and Arnold; sisters, Dorothy and Julie and two siblings in infancy.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg and from where a gathering to celebrate Theresa’s life will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 7 – 9 p.m. Interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blue Rocks or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
