Obituary for David Leslie Mullins
David Leslie Mullins, 82, of Petite Riviere, NS, formerly of Stirling, Ontario, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2020.
Born in Finchley, England, 1937, he was the son of the late Mabel and Colin Mullins. He immigrated with his family to Canada in 1975, and moved to Nova Scotia in 2013. David actively contributed to his community throughout his life. He was a founding member of the Quinte Therapeutic Riding Association and assisted Rotary International in many overseas projects. Through the Bridgewater Rotary, he also organized dictionary donations to NS school children.
He is survived by wife Gillian; daughter, Julia (Nils) in Norway; son, Clive (Ingrid) in Vancouver, and daughter Rosie (David) in Dartmouth and grandchildren Helena, Sophia, Maia, Zoe, Jake and Charlie.
He was predeceased by his son, Roger (2001) and brother, Peter (2019).
Condolences can be sent to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. A service will be arranged when travel is possible at a later date.
