Obituary for Raymond Donald Moore

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Raymond was the son of the late Raymond Vincent and Helen Marion (MacDonald) Moore.

Raymond spent his earlier years in Rhode Island and moved to Bayport in 1986 where his family farmed off the land and were one of the first organic yogurt producers in the area. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and was quite content to spending time at his home, surrounded by his large extended family.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Elisabeth “Liz”; daughters, Elenana (Tim), West Dublin; Sumaya (Tim), Windsor, Bellewyn, Lunenburg, Kalyn (Guy) Lunenburg, Robin Bronson; sons, Tavish (Jessica) Bridgewater, Euen (Jessica), Ingramport, Daniel (Emma), Mount Pleasant, Cameron, Rhode Island; loving grandchildren, Lukum, Rubun, Rolen, Oscar, Elsa, Therasa, Elizabelle, Molly, Eve, Isla, Alexa, Olivia; Twyzum, Elijah, Kallum, Jayden, Simon and Noah; sisters, Nancy, Sally and Eleanor and a brother, Scott all of Rhode Island, mother-in-law, Jane Crispell, New York and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, and a grand-daughter, Olive in 2013.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lunenburg Food Bank.

Lessons from Dad:

Live simply, Grow your own food, “success” is bullshit, Breathe, experience life.
In times of stress, remember, “this too shall pass.”
