Obituary for Harold Ray Sawler
It is with great sadness that the family of Harold Ray Sawler, 65, of Lunenburg and formerly of Stonehurst, announces his passing on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg.
Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of the late Roseville and Phyllis (Dorey) Sawler.
Harold lived in Stonehurst for many years and worked all of his working life at National Sea Products, Lunenburg.
Harold is survived by his wife, Mildred, Lunenburg; sons, Jamie, Halifax; Troy, Bridgewater; brother, Roy (Maggie), Mahone Bay, sister, Shirley Hubley, Bridgewater; granddaughter, Amy.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his infant sister, Joyce.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A graveside and committal service to celebrate Harold’s life will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg, Rev. Lee Simpson, officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s United Church, Blue Rocks or to any other charity.
