Obituary for Carolyn Esther Silver
It is with great sadness that the family of Carolyn Silver, 71, of Bridgewater, announces her passing on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Lunenburg, Carolyn was a daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Nauss) Silver.
Carolyn began her working career as a hairdresser in Lunenburg, then as a tax consultant with H& R Block. She then went on to have her own business for forty years as a tax consultant. Not having children of her own she was especially fond of her two nephews and five great-nieces.
Carolyn is survived by her sister Shirley (Robert) Black, Lunenburg; nephews, Stephen (Pam) Black, Hammonds Plains, Richard Black, Lunenburg; great-nieces Robyn, Samantha, Rachel, Chloe and Meredith.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. In keeping with Carolyn’s wishes a private family graveside service was held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. Rev. Rick Pryce officiated.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
