Obituary for Everette Maxwell Mosher

It is with deep sadness that the family of Everette Maxwell Mosher, 86, of Lunenburg, and formerly of Feltzen South, announces his passing on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.

Born in Feltzen South, he was a son of the late Titus and Lalia (Zinck) Mosher.

Everette was a lifelong member of his Feltzen South community. He was a member of Wesley United Church in Feltzen South where he was always willing to lend a hand whenever he was able. He was a steadfast attendee up until its recent closing.

Everette began his fifty year working career in Riverport at the fish plant of Ritcey Brothers, then with H.P. Nickerson’s Seafoods, followed by Fisheries Products International, up until his retirement. Everette could often be seen working around his home, getting firewood ready for winter, or out in his shed, where folks were always welcome to stop in for a yarn.

Everette is survived by his companion, Pauline Massey; sisters-in-law, Gail Mosher and Rosabelle Mosher, both of Lunenburg; Pauline’s children, Harry Massey, Lunenburg, David (Connie) Massey, Chelsea, Clayton (Mary Ann) Massey, Crousetown, Lee (Cynthia) Massey, ON, and special friend, John Lowe, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth; brothers, William, Colin and Marvin, as well as two infant brothers.
