It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Alvin Daniel, 81, of Bridgewater, formerly of Herman’s Island, announce his passing at Ryan Hall, Shannex, in Bridgewater on January 4, 2023.

Born on Herman’s Island, he was a son of the late James and Evelyn (Westhaver) Daniel.

Paul spent his life on the water as a fisherman in the Lunenburg area. He loved cars and enjoyed working on them whenever he had the chance. He will be remembered as quiet man who enjoyed a small circle of friends and family.

Paul is survived by his sisters-in-law, Sharon, Herman’s Island, Janet, Bridgewater; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Keith and David, as well as a brother in infancy.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A graveside memorial service will be held in Sunny Valley Cemetery, Centre, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Alvin Westgate officiating.
