Obituary for Olive Chrystal Elisabeth Moore

Olive Chrystal Elisabeth Moore
It is with deep sadness that the family of Olive Chrystal Elisabeth Moore, 9, of Mount Pleasant announces her passing on Saturday, January 19, 2013.

Born in Truro on July 15, 2003, she was the daughter of Tavish and Candice (Tanner) Moore.

Olive was perfect. She was born deeply wise and profoundly loving. She was sassy and feisty and ready to tell the world what to do and was never afraid to tell you how much she sincerely loved you (no matter how well she knew you). She was completely fun-loving, energetic and ran, danced, jumped and cartwheeled her way through this world. She was the core of the family, and wanted everyone as close as possible. She held her own among an abundance of boys in the family, all the while remaining a true, sparkling girl. Along with her other talents, Olive was a poet and wanted to be a rock star. There is something inexplicably special about the sheer volume of love she could show. The following song she wrote is a perfect example of that tenderness.
You make me feel special like a diamond floating in the sky
that's how special you are to me
it's like a snowflake melting with love
you make me feel like a diamond in the sky
you, you, you are the one who will always be with me
because you have a snowflake in your hand
melting with love for me and you
it's making our love
softer and softer
I love you and you love me
you make me feel special like a diamond floating in the sky
you love me and I love you
Love, Olive

Besides her parents, Olive is survived by brothers, Twyzum, Elijah, Jayden, Simon and Noah. She will be sadly missed by her grand-parents, Raymond and Elisabeth Moore, David and Alice Beazley, William (Cheryl) Tanner , all from Lunenburg County; great-grandparents, Marguerite and William Tanner, Jane Crispell, Wilfred and Mary Fleet; Aunt Chrystal and Uncle Steve Freeman; cousins, Bruce, Khylei and Colt; second cousins, Christa, Brandi and Matthew; uncle, David Tanner; aunts, Elenana Moore, Sumaya (Tim) Moore, Bellewyn Moore, Kalyn Moore; uncles, Euen Moore, Daniel Moore; cousins, Lukum and Rubun Muise, Oscar; great-aunts and great-uncles, Danny and Val Tanner, Charlene and Greville Veinotte, Darlene Broome and Stewart Collie, Tanya Heon and Russell Heon.

Olive will be deeply missed by all the teachers and students of Pentz Elementary and Petite Riviere Elementary.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Olive with her family during visitation Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. Funeral Service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasantville Baptist Church, Pleasantville, Rev. Mitchell Foley and Rev. Steven Hiltz officiating. Interment will be in Heckman’s Island Cemetery, Heckman’s Island.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be greatly appreciated to be made to the Moore family.
The family would like to especially thank the first responders and the Paramedics.

You will always be mommy’s little princess and nanny’s little angel.
We all love you.
