Bill's passing did not come unexpectedly; nonetheless it is still a momentous occasion. Especially remembering his vitality and strength in the almost 50 years I've known him. For such a big man he was very agile: I can still see him tripping playing tennis at Roseland, falling down,and seeing this big man rolling over and in one fell swoop getting up again ready to hit the next ball coming his way. Getting underneath my car when it had some problem and fixing it in no time flat. Sailing with Kay and Albert on the Aidean in Nova Scotia; being so knowledgable, seeing the Northern Lights: a tremendous experience and a cherished memory. A very lively and capable man. I am sorry that all of you, Dick,Bubs,Fance, Jay, Biddy and Thom, plus your partners had to say goodbye. Especially for Dick and Paula it will be a big change.
