I was lucky enough to meet Madeleine when I taught her daughter Roxanne many years ago at Mahone Bay School. Since that day so long ago, Madeleine has always held a special place in my heart with her genuine smile, warm hugs, and positive attitude towards life. I loved to hear that laugh of hers and no matter what was happening, Madeleine could always shine with that special glow. Now, all these years later, I still vividly remember and cherish her spirit. I will miss her very much and I will never forgot the gift of her smile that she so generously offered to all of us. It was an honor and a privilege to be her friend.
