The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Paul Arbuckle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

bear in the woods

We were only young 10 or 11 years of age.I was brought up out in Mira.Everyone used to come home for the summer on vocation. There was a fresh spring just down the road from the old farm house .we would go down to fetch gollon jugs some times twice a day.On one occassion myself,Paul and my brother''Big Bill' went down to the spring with 2 gollon jugs  each and were just about to the open field and there was a noise in the woods a growling sound ,the small spruce trees were moving, well the three of us never ran so fast back up to the house.Everyone asked us what is the matter and we said there is a big bear down in the woods. Everyone laughed and the door opened it wwas Paul's dad ,my uncle Charlie .He scared us white.we had a good laugh after that.
