Douglas George  Drew
It is with sadness that the family of Douglas George Drew, 61, of Indian Path, Lunenburg County, announce his passing on Friday, January 13, 2017 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Toronto, he was the son of the late Merville and Marrian (Henshal) Drew.

Doug was employed by Clearwater as a Scallop fisherman and as a cook on the scallop draggers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the great outdoors.

Surviving is his loving wife of 28 years, Lynne; his step-daughter, Nikki (Tim); step-son, Josh (Dehlia); sister, Karen (Ian), Pickering, ON; brother, Michael (Patty), New Germany; step-father, Balazs Undi, Toronto; mother-in-law, Alice Fraser; grandchildren, Myla, Marcus and Jax; cherished nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Doug was predeceased by his step-mother, Lois Drew.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. By request there will be no service at this time.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to S.H.A.I.D. tree Animal Shelter or to a charity of your choice.
