I'm sadden to hear the passing of my Uncle Tom as he was always a jolly man. I remember when i was a little girl , at the age of 7 or 8, the whole family visited uncle tom and aunt lottie in season for strawberries and they had a hugh strawberry patch!!! if i had to guess i would say that they planned the whole thing out for the time to pick. We did enjoy picking the strawberry for them but i have to say the best was eating them. We got sooooo sick as when we were putting them in the basket it was one for the basket and two for me. lol it was all the kids picking and the older ones went to the fair... something wrong with that ... lol with all that said it was always a great time when we visited and enjoyed the time sitting on uncle toms laps as we all chatted. I love you and will miss you. now we have another angel watching over us all. i didn't have a picture to put up here so i wanted to share this little memory of my time with him.
