Remembering Richard
It was in 2009 that I bought my Nordica 20 and I kept it moored in the Back Harbour. That was when I started to regularly drive down to Lunenburg to sail. Just about every time I would stop in at Sharon and Richard's for a chat about sailing. I loved talking to Richard about boats and sailing because he knew so much and liked to share his wisdom. Richard came out with me once in my Nordica and this was a great experience. It is always great to have a knowledgeable sailer in your boat because you learn a great deal. Richard and I sailed out into Mahone Bay and around Rafuse Island. We had a wonderful time. After every visit Sharon would always say "I will call Pia to let her know you are on your way home. I will miss you, Richard.
